LEAVITT, Ethel. After a lengthy battle with Parkinson Disease, Ethel Leavitt passed away early January 4, 2003 at Maimonides Hospital. Devoted wife of the late Moe. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Carol and Laddie Schnaiberg and Harvey and Harriet Leavitt. Much loved grandmother of Romy and Warren Litwin, Lee Schnaiberg, Rob and Azita Leavitt and Stacey and Erin Wright and proud great-grandmother of Matthew and Kelsey Litwin, Mayan and Gal Leavitt, and Jordyn Wright. Dearest sister and sister-in-law of Ida Leavitt and Ruth Weiland, the late Arthur Mirsky and the late Jules and the late Frances Leavitt. The family wishes to thank Minty Asfaw, Vidia Mars and the wonderful staff of 4 South at Maimonides Hospital for their loving care and support. A Graveside Service will be held Sunday, January 5, 2003 at 1 p.m. at Dorshei Emet Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at 4800 de Maisonneuve West Apt. 324.
