Obituary MIEDZIGORSKI, Chaim. After a long and courageous struggle, on Sunday November 18, 2007. Beloved husband of the late Sala Feder Miedzigorski. Cherished and devoted father and father-in-law of Rita and Dr. Henry Braun, Helen Miedzigorski and Gabor Glasz. Adored grandfather of Dr. Ilana Braun, Dr. Nora Braun, Jenna Miedzigorski Glasz, Michael Miedzigorski Glasz and Jonathan Braun as well as grandsons-in-law Jed Weiss and Joshua Friedman. Delighted and treasured great-grandfather of Gabriel Friedman. As the sole Holocaust survivor of his family, he embraced his dear sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Rabbi Moshe and Nachama Feder, the late Guta and the late Chaim Rosenberg, the late Ben Zion and the late Natka Feder. He will be deeply missed by his in-laws Barbara and George Glass whose friendship was dear to him. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews Rose and Frank Rosenblum, Norman and Margaret Feder, Ricki and Dr. David Hollander, Rachelle and Dr. Howard Friedman, Rabbi Jacob and Raizel Feder and their families. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Frieda Smith and Thelma Walters, for their loving and skilled care and the warm companionship, they shared with him in the last years of his life. A special thank you to Dr. Lise Desormeaux and Dr. Andrew Benko for their sensitivity, great compassion and skill. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons 3888 Jean Talon W. on Tuesday November 20 at 11 a.m. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at his home. His optimistic and creative approach to lifes challenges, his resilient and positive attitude, his ability to derive great joy from simple pleasures will remain and inspiration to us all, and he will be most lovingly remembered.
