BURSTEIN, Isabel (nee Simon)
Peacefully, at home in Toronto, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, on Thursday, January 26, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife and best friend of Louis Burstein for fifty-six years. Loving and devoted mother of Mindy and Debbie Burstein. Cherished Bubbie of Alyssa Lefcort and Avi Milgram, and Ryan Lefcort. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Yetta and the late Harry Cohen, Shirley and Irving Levine, the late Jack Simon, the late Sam and the late Tillie Simon, and sister-in-law of the late Yetta and the late Israel Glazerman, and the late Isaac Burstein. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Oncology Department at the Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, January 29 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at 4850 ch. de la Cote-Saint-Luc #84, Montreal.
