Obituary KRASNICK, Horace Yale. On Tuesday, June 13, 2006. Devoted and loving husband of the late Byrdie for sixty years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Ronny and Carla (Yaffe) of Moorestown, NJ. Cherished grandfather of Shelley (Atlanta, GA) and Alex (State College, PA). Predeceased by his siblings Dora, Stella, Mimi, Sophie, Alfie (Leona), Gerry and Acey (Amey). Dear brother-in-law of Sydney Segall. Horrie will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews and their children. Horace was an army veteran of World War II, and served in the Victoria Rifles. Started in the shmata business, wound up as a talented stone carver through the aegis of the Golden Age (Cummings Center) demonstrating immeasurable talent with a large legacy of Stone sculpture. Thank you to Chateau Westmount and its staff of committed, loving employees who added dignity to a life stripped of its humanity. Forever grateful to Susan Brice who treated our father as her own, and to Chrissoula Mavroukas and Emma Awad for their care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Friday, June 16 at 10:45 a.m. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at 5900 Cavendish Blvd. #610, C.S.L. until Sunday morning, continuing in New Jersey.
