Obituary CAPLAN, Ada (nee Vorner) Peacefully, on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, in her ninety-second year. Beloved wife of the late Herbert Caplan. Cherished and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Stephen and Rosemary, Jeffrey and Ingrid, and Arlene Caplan. Proud and treasured grandmother of Caralee Caplan-Shaw and Jason Shaw, Jessica Caplan, Andrea Caplan and Neil Rubin; Jarrod, Jordana, and Lindsey Caplan, Kyle and Alea Salim; Harlie, Cecily, and Levi Dover. Dearly loved great-grandmother of Natalie, Gabriel, and Samantha Shaw, Alexandra, and Tristan Rubin. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Sarah and the late Henry Deitcher, Jean and the late Juair Monson, the late Beatrice and the late Henry Spevack. Ada will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Dear friend of Sam Abramson. Heartfelt thanks to Reggie, her devoted caregiver, whose compassion and love meant so much to Ada in her final years. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, March 31, at 12:15 p.m. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Due to the festival of Passover, shiva will commence on Wednesday, April 3 and continue through Sunday, April 7; from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily at her son's home.
