BLITT, Ronnie Peacefully, on Monday, May 21, 2018, at the age of eighty-six. Loving husband and best friend of Irene Goldstein for sixty-one years. Very proud and loving father and father-in-law of Barry Blitt and Angie Silverstein, Ricky Blitt and Danita Shultz. He loved his grandson, Sam. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Roslyn and Steve McMahan, the late Rita and the late Frank Engels; and brother-in-law of Arthur and Lorraine Goldstein. Son of the late Ida and the late Ben Blitt. Son-in-law of the late Alice and the late Joe Goldstein. Ronnie will be missed by his cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Special thanks to Drs. Marcia Gillman, Philippe Michel and Michael Pollak, and to the wonderful staff and volunteers of the Palliative Care Unit at the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, May 23 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
