BERNSTEIN, Jack Peacefully on Tuesday, May 12, 2009. Devoted husband, for 59 years, of the late Bernice Udashkin. Loving father and father-in-law of Barry Bernstein, Susan and Michael Kujawski, Sheryl and Larry Halpert. Proud grandfather of Jeffrey, Alan and Jennifer Bernstein; Helen Kujawski; Melanie Halpert, Alanna and Brian Cooke. Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Eva and the late William Cohen, the late Miriam Bernstein, the late Harry Bernstein. Dear brother-in-law of Donald and the late Marlene Udashkin. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the doctors, nurses, orderlies, physiotherapist and staff of 6NW of the Jewish General Hospital for their extraordinary care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, May 14, at 12 p.m. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva private.
