Obituary BARON, Sarah (nee Plotkin) Courageously, with her daughters by her sides holding her hands, on Saturday, December 27, 2014, at the age of eighty-two. Dearly beloved wife of the late Harold. Devoted daughter of the late Molly and the late Benny Plotkin. Treasured mother of Rhonda and Jodi Baron. Adored sister of the late Alex Plotkin. Dear sister-in-law of Cindy Plotkin, the late Pauline and the late Paul Levy, the late Sally and the late Bill Voldar, Sydney Baron and the late Edith Rosen, and the late Nathan Baron. Much-loved aunt, great-aunt and great-great-aunt. Throughout her life, her many cousins meant so much to her. Lifetime friend of Shirley and the late Marven Silverstein, and a special friend to many others, too numerous to mention. We wish to acknowledge and thank all the medical angels involved in our Mom's care: Dr. Jennifer Friedman, Dr. David Melnychuk, Dr. Michael Dworkind, and the incredible, compassionate staff of 8NW and 4 Main at the Jewish General Hospital for caring for our Mother as though she were their own. Special thanks to Michel (Mike) Rosenberg and Mona Gold Steinberg for their unwavering support and incredible friendship. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, December 30 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at her home, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily.
