SMILEY, Ruth (née Abramson) Peacefully, with dignity, on Friday, December 29, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Hyman. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Harriet Rockow, Sandra and Stanley Harris, Reisa and Mel Schneider. Cherished Bubby of Jeffrey and Shawn Bordoff, Alissa and Jonathan Parker, Peter Horowitz and Megan Bochner, Brian Harris and Andrea Szlamkowicz, Carly and Brian Hughes, Pamela Schneider, Amanda and Emmett Deitch. Proud Bubby Ruth of Jared and Hannah Parker; Zeke and Hazel Horowitz; Joshua, Sadie and Henry Harris; Elliot Hughes; Emily and Jordyn Deitch. Dearest sister and sister-in-law of Florence Shattner and the late Eli Abramson. Ruth will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, family and all who knew her.
