MANN, Thelma
(née Marcus)
Peacefully, on Monday, July 31, 2017, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Devoted wife of the late Arthur I. Mann. Beloved and cherished mother and mother-in-law of Linda Mann and the late Joshua Gewurz, Joyce and Lloyd Prizant. Adoring grandmother of Dr. Lauren Gewurz and Aaron Mitchell, Jennifer Gewurz and Daniel Budd, Jamie Gewurz; Jason Prizant and Lauren Tajfel, Ryan Prizant and Kaiti Hersh, Jordan, and Amanda Prizant. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Raphael and Fabie Marcus, the late Jean and the late Jerry Appel, the late David Marcus, and sister-in-law of the late Ben and the late Esther Mann. Thelma will be dearly missed by her nieces, nephews, and all those whose lives she touched. Friend of the late Jack Gitlitz. Her smile and warm and friendly manner will be missed. She made a lasting impression on everyone she met. Special thanks to Dr. Michael Malus and the Palliative Care team at the Jewish General Hospital, as well as Vangi and Katherine. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, August 2 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Beth-El Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
