BETTER, Helen (nee Altow)
Suddenly, on Monday, March 3, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Ned Better. Devoted and loving mother and mother-in-law of Robert and Judy, Howard and Bobbi, Mark and Lynda. Loving Bubbie of seven grandchildren. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Bill and Debby Altow of Vancouver; and sister-in-law of the late Clifford and the late Sandra Better. Daughter of the late Anne and the late Morris Altow. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, March 7 at 10:00 a.m. Burial at the Beth El Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at her home, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., through Tuesday evening.
