DERMER, Solomon Louis (Sol). On Thursday, July 27, 2006. It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather. Beloved and adored husband of sixty-five years of Stella Litwin. Loving father of Howard (Ruth Hornstein), Frances (Allan Singerman), Lawrie and Phylene. Cherished Papa of Jordan and Mandy, Michael and Patricia, Adam, Emily and Josh, Melissa and Lee, Matthew and Gillian, Audra and David, Melissa and Fernando. Proud great-grandfather of Devon, Alexandra, Kori, James, Amanda, Jake, Brendon and Kylie. Brother and brother-in-law of Roslyn and John Shenker, Edith and Norman Glickman, Ruth and the late Fred Dermer, the late Shirley and the late Ben Silverman, Harold Dermer, Sam and the late Sara Litwin, Joyce and the late Harold Rosen, Stanley and the late Carol Litwin, Bob and Joan Litwin. Special thanks to Dr. Neil Trister, Dr. Gordon Crelinsten, and Dr. Michael Laplante and wonderful support from loving caregiver Amy Taeza and nurse Sonia Paul. Funeral service took place from Paperman and Sons, on Friday, July 28 at 12:15 p.m. Shiva at 4300 de Maisonneuve W. #1029.
