FISHER, Helen (nee Smith)
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, Helen, on Monday, February 8, 2016, in her ninety-fifth year. Predeceased by her loving husband, Hy. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Stephen (Elizabeth Allen Rankin), Debra and Harvey Lazare. Cherished grandmother of Holly Fisher and special grandmother of Jonathan and Karen Lazare, Jordan Lazare, Jodi Lazare and Lee Lunn. Proud great-grandmother of Jacob and Leah Lazare. Beloved sister and sister-in-law of Mitchell and the late Betty Richler, Lee and the late Edward Liasson, Lenny and Rhoda Smith, the late Bernard and the late Libby Smith, and sister-in-law of Art and the late Myra Fisher, the late Anne and the late Sam Wise. The family would like to thank Dr. Paul Lysy, Steven Ray, Flo Dalfen and the entire staff of Westmount One for their care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, February 10 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Beth-El Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at her daughter's home, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily through Sunday evening.
