DOUEK, Elie. Died at home peacefully, surrounded by family on December 28, 2006 in West Palm Beach. Survived by his loving wife, Denise and his children Morris, Karen, David and Audrey, sons-in-law Jay and Elliot and daughter-in-law, Debbie. Cherished grandfather of Danielle, Elise, Adam, Rachel, Brian, Samantha, Aaron, Arielle, Avital and Benjamin. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Edouard and Nina, Albert and Beatrice Douek, Cely and the late Ezekiel Schouela. Predeceased by his sister and brothers. Loved by his family and friends alike, he will be missed and remembered for his passion for life, generosity, sound advice and loving heart. He left a profound mark on those who had the good fortune to know and love him. Special thanks to Dr. J. Barkun and Sonja at the Royal Victoria Hospital and to Dr. R. Wacks in Florida for their compassionate care. Funeral Services will be held at Paperman & Sons 3888 Jean Talon Street West on Sunday December 31 at 12 p.m. Burial at the Beth El Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
