SHADOWITZ, Diana Gail (née Steinberg) Peacefully, at home, with grace and dignity, on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, after a courageous battle. Beloved wife of the late Norman. Adored mother of Mitchell and Beth, Steven and Earl, Andree and the late Robert. Treasured Bubby of Corey, Jenna, Jonathan, Anthony and Lee. Dear sister of the late Dorothy Lieberman (Morty) and the late Stanley Steinberg (Geraldine). Special aunt to Jeffrey and Jenny, Sid and Jodie, Earl, Phillip and Sherri, and Michael Lieberman, Dee Dee and Pedro, and the late Robert Steinberg. Loved special friend and companion of Joe Rosenberg, who enriched her life. Diana will be missed by Joe's children, Brenda and Hillel, Tracey and Amiram, Mitchell and Pauline, and by his grandchildren. She was a caring friend, a charitable community volunteer, and a role model for many. She led a life filled with love from childhood to her passing, and we were lucky to have had her. The family would like to express their gratitude to her caregivers, Pamela and Wilma. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, December 10 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Shaare Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at her home, 4900 ch. de la Côte-Saint-Luc #702, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily through Wednesday evening, continuing in Boca Raton, Florida on Thursday and Friday.
