FARKAS, Valerie (nee Linksz)
Peacefully, in her ninety-ninth year, on Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Wife of the late Louis Farkas. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of George and Drorit. Cherished 'Savta' of Oren Farkas and Yael Kliers, Leechen and Michael Zukor, Yahel Farkas and Cantor Adam Stotland. Loving great-grandmother of Yuval, Gilad and Amitai Farkas; Kinneret and Ayala Zukor; Shaya Stotland. Dear aunt of Catherine Matyas. Sister of the late Julia Grunwald Holzmanova and the late Elza Vernova. Predeceased by her brother Erno who perished in the Holocaust. Sister-in-law of Eszter Grunfeld Sicherman, and the late Zoltan Farkas. Special thanks to all who care for her and loved her. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W.
