SHIZGAL, David T. On Friday, July 15, 2005 in his ninety-third year. Beloved husband of the late Rita Dash, cherished father and father-in-law of Elaine and Stephen Cohen (Teaneck, N.J) and Peter Shizgal and Leslie Paris. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Jean and the late Kalman Segalowitz, Rose and the late Sam Enkin, Harold and the late Buddy Shizgal, Faye and Eddie Dunietz, and Oscar and Dorthy Dash and the late Ceci and the late Eddie Leiffer. Loving Saba of Tamara Cohen and Gwynn Kessler, Ayelet Cohen, Maya Cohen, and Hannah Shizgal-Paris. He was a true gentleman, whose passion for justice, truth and learning inspired family, friends, and students. A proud WWII veteran of the Canadian armed forces, he was a compassionate dental surgeon who provided the highest level of care. He will be deeply missed. Very special thanks to his devoted caregivers, Joan Andall, Barbara Chery, Clarance Dube, and the staff of Le Waldorf Residence. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West, on Sunday, July 17 at 11:30 a.m. Burial at the Congregation Shaare Zion section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at 4870 Fulton, Montreal through Tuesday evening, continuing in Teaneck, N.J.
