SHAPIRO, Marlene (nee Axelrod) Peacefully, after a courageous battle, on Friday, October 29, 2010. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Gary Shapiro, Stephen and Dori Shapiro. Cherished grandmother of Henry (Hank) and Joseph (Joe) Shapiro. Loving sister and sister-in-law of Allan and Terri Axelrod. Dear aunt of Lori and Howard Track, Marnie Goldenberg, and their children. Special thanks to Dr. David Melnychuk for his care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, October 31 at 12 noon. Burial at the Shaare Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva through Sunday evening, October 31.
