Peacefully and with dignity, on Sunday, June 11, 2017. Beloved husband of Hannah Kenigsberg for sixty years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Debbie and David Posner, Robyn and Ken McKirdy. Cherished Zaidie of Hayley Posner; Jayde, Matthew and Edyn McKirdy. Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Aaron and Ruth Adelstein, and Rea Adelstein; and brother-in-law of Marilyn and Dr. Isaiah Litvak. Irving will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family, friends and all who knew and loved him. The family wishes to thank Drs. Peter Lipes and Martin Gyger, as well as the 4th floor staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, June 13 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Shaare Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
