Surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, June 4, 2014. Wife of the late Lorne. Mother and mother-in-law of Marcie and Bill Scudder, Joseph and Melanie, Naomi and Michael Cohen. Grandmother of Daniel Scudder and Sabrina Chau, Jeremy Scudder, Elana and Michael Gaines; Alison Abramowitz and Austin Zaloum, Eden, and Isaac Abramowitz; Loren, and Adam Cohen. Sister and sister-in-law of Ruth Smith, Richard and the late Eva Shapiro, Alta Abramowitz and Joe Ottoni, Sue and Bernie Pucker, Harvey Levine and Louise, Tom and Pamela Finkelstein. Predeceased by her parents Josef and Lotte Klein, Moe and Freda Levine; and by her parents-in-law Eddie and Muriel Abramowitz. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, June 8 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Shaare Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at her son's home, 558 Lansdowne, Westmount from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. through Tuesday evening; Joseph will continue to sit shiva on Wednesday and Thursday at his home, Naomi will be receiving friends and family at her home in Toronto on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. Please contact Marcie for details about Boston.
