PINKUS, Stanley. Peacefully, on Friday, October 24, 2008, after a long and courageous battle. Beloved husband of Harriet Wolfe Sabbath for 56 years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Steve and Carol Pinkus, Isabelle and Rick Zolkower. Loving grandfather of Jill Pinkus and fiance Larry Winton, Lauren Pinkus; Anna and Rebecca Zolkower. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Evelyn and the late David Stanislawski, Mary and Irving Leibgott, Trudy and the late Sonny Weinstein, Sabine and the late Paul Pinkus, Max and the late Helen Stein, the late Ruth Binder. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and many friends. Special thanks to Gordon Heitshu and his staff for their exceptional and devoted care. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Sunday, October 26 at 3 p.m. Burial at the Shaare Zedek Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at 44 Alouette St., D.D.O. from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. daily. Contributions in his memory may be made to the charity of your choice. |
