COVIENSKY, Luba (née Goodman) Peacefully, with dignity on Thursday, April 19, 2018, in her ninety-fifth year. Beloved wife of the late George (Gershon) Coviensky. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Mira "Mendy", Arlene "Chaya", Judith "Judy", Jerry and Sharyn (Katsof), and the late Valerie. Loving sister and sister-in-law of Morris and the late Roz Goodman, the late Jennie and the late Joe Helfenbaum, the late Moe Coviensky and the late Lana Coviensky. Proud Bubby of Jason and fiancée Katelyn, Mitchell and fiancée Nancy, and Adam. Dearest aunt of Beth and Michael, Ralph, Roanne, Debbie and Gerry, David and Mia, Jonathan and Dana, Shawna and Todd. Special cousin of Val and Ella, and their family. Luba will be deeply missed by her extended family, friends and all who knew her. Heartfelt thanks to all the doctors and nurses of the Palliative Care Unit at the Jewish General Hospital for their excellent care during her final days. Special mention to the staff at the Waldorf Residence who respected her wishes to live as independently as possible. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, April 22 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Shaare Zedek Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
