DECKELBAUM, Herman (Hy). Peacefully on Thursday, May 8, 2003. Beloved husband of Gloria Rutenberg. Devoted father and father-in-law of Holly Kaufman, Sandy and Gordon Russell. Cherished papa of David and Amy Kaufman, Jonathan and Andrew Russell. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Fay and the late David Randolph and the late Charlie Winikoff, Joseph and the late Naomi, Moe and Yetta, Freda and the late Rabbi A. Bernard Leffell, the late Irving, and the late Samuel (Si) Deckelbaum. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to Tess for her love and kindness, and to Dr. G. Goldman and the nurses of the Montreal General Hospital 14th floor. Funeral Service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West, on Sunday, May 11, 2003 at 2:30 p.m. Burial at the Shaare Zedek Congregation Cemetery Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
