| Obituary | Florence (Bubbles) Weigens (née Shapiro) With grace and dignity, on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, in her ninety-fourth year. Beloved and loving wife of the late Edward. Dear mother and mother-in-law of Dr. David and Anne (Lewis), Sandy, Jon and Nancy (Swartz). Cherished and proud Bubby of Jeremy Weigens and fiancée Erin Lafrenière, Sasha Weigens and Erika Morey, and Arielle Lewis-Weigens. Sister and sister-in-law of Beverly and the late Dr. Maynard Shapiro; and predeceased by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, May and Adolphe Jack Frost, Frank and Mollie Weigensberg, Anita and Sam Perzow, and David Weigensberg. Florence will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, and their families as ‘Auntie Bubbles’, and will be deeply missed by her family and by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of 5 North at Maimonides Geriatric Centre for their care and warmth. Special thanks to Sharon Elisabeth Mullen and all of Florence’s wonderful caregivers. A private graveside service to take place. Shiva private.
