ZUBATOFF, Abe 'Morris' It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Abe on Friday, December 2, 2011, at the age of eighty-six. Beloved husband of Irene (Rubin). Devoted father and father-in-law of Gerry Morris and Marilyn (Reicher) Zubatoff of California, and Gaye (Zubatoff) Lefebvre and Jean Pierre Lefebvre of Toronto. Cherished Zaydie of Jodie and Brahm, and Carolyn and Jacqueline. Very proud great-grandfather of Jeffrey and Samantha, and Jamie and Max. Brother of Ida (Zubatoff) Lustig, and brother-in-law of Brina (Rubin) and the late Carl Langleben, and David Rubin. Abe will be deeply missed by all his family and friends. Many thanks to his special caregivers, Gigi, Emanuel, Erwin and Florence, and the staff of the Royal Victoria Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, December 6 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Shaare Zedek Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at 4660 Bonavista Ave., from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., ending Friday afternoon, December 9.
