NITKIN-CAHN, Pearl (nee Balk). Peacefully, on Monday, September 24, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Ralph Nitkin and the late Herbert Cahn. Loving and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Roberta and Eric, Elaine and Gerry, Susan and Jeffrey, Patricia and Misha, Steven and Bonnie, Robert and Arlene. Adored and adoring "Granma" of Matthew, Dana, Ali, Rebecca, Mishelle, Caleb, Noah, Joanna, Anton, Josh, Ben, Rachel, Dan and Gabe. Dear sister and sister-in-law of David and Marilyn Balk, Irene Kruger. She will be sadly missed by her family, many friends and all those whose lives she touched. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Montreal General Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Wednesday September 26 at 2 p.m. Burial at the Shaare Zedek Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
