SCHAFER, Sandra (Sandy) In Montreal after a lengthy illness on Thursday, July 11, 2002. Beloved daughter of Al and the late Anne Schafer. Cherished sister and sister-in-law of Marilyn (Mindi) and Ben Weksler of Houston, Texas, Mel and Brenda Schafer of Ottawa and the late Lenny and the late Beth Schafer. Special aunt of Carey Weksler, Sherri and Mitch Golomb, Heidi and Karen Levine. Loving niece of Lou and Eva Schafer, Gloria and the late Terry DaSilva, Adele and Hy Cohen, Leah and the late Hy Itscovitch, the late Joe and the late Connie Schafer, Denise and the late Lou Pasechnick. Dear and special friend of Evie Podlog. Special thanks to Dr. Panasci and to the staff of the Oncology Department. She will be sadly missed by all her friends and relatives. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West, Montreal on Sunday, July 14, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Shaare Zedek Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
