SCHAFER, Abraham (Al). On Saturday, September 13, 2003. Beloved husband of the late Anne. Devoted father and father-in-law of Marilyn (Mindy) and Ben Weksler of Houston, Texas, Melvin and Brenda of Ottawa, the late Lenny and the late Beth and the late Sandra (Sandy) Schafer. Cherished Papa Al of Carey, Sherri and Mitch, Karen and Heidi. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Lou and Eve, the late Rose and the late Ben Neidik, the late Joe and the late Connie. Brother-in-law of Gloria and the late Terry da Silva, Leah and the late Hymie Itscovitch, Adele and Hymie Cohen, the late Harry and the late Esther, Denise and the late Lou Pasechnick. He will be sadly missed by his devoted friend Helen Novack and by his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to his devoted caregivers Maria, Cora, Corey and the staff of Le Waldorf Residence.
