SIROTA, Laizer
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Laizer Sirota, at the age of eighty-six, on Wednesday, September 12, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Myra Rabinovitch. Loving father and father-in-law of Bill and Brigit, Sharon and Mark Mendell, Ian and Cheryl, Marvin and Joni Garellek, Sharon and Pierre Bernier. Adored Zaida and Papa of Maya and Ethan, Delilah, Ryan and Melissa, Matthew and Kayla. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Ann and Joe Sugar, Evelyn and Morris Cherniak, and brother-in-law of Gerry and Marlene Rabinovitch. Laizer will be sadly mourned and fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to all the doctors and staff of 6 NW at the Jewish General Hospital for their care, kindness and devotion. Funeral Service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, September 14 at 12 noon. Burial at the Dorshei Emet Reconstructionist Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at 6500 Mackle Road, C.S.L. Due to the advent of Rosh Hashanah, shiva ends Sunday at 12 noon, September 16.
