LONDON, Jonas. After a lengthy illness borne with dignity and courage, on Thursday, September 8, 2005. Devoted husband of the late Elca Kaplansky. Loving father and father-in-law of Sharon London and Mark Liss of Toronto, Mark London and Stephanie Siegal, the late David. Cherished grandfather of David and Andrew Liss; Alexandra and Noah London. Loving brother of Sadie Silverstein, Leah Hymowitz, the late Jack, the late Henry, the late Morris and the late Irving. Special thanks to Leonard Kaplansky - an extraordinary brother-in-law. Heartfelt thanks to caregivers Cecile, Maria, Judith, Constantino, Ken, the Dialysis Department and the staff of 7 West at the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Sunday, September 11 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Reconstructionist Dorshei Emet Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at 1515 Dr. Penfield #701, through Monday evening, September 12.
