SPIEGEL, Betty (nee Etcovitch) Peacefully in her ninety-sixth year, on Thursday, December 14, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Moe Spiegel. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Stephen Spiegel and Judith Solomon, the late Bram Spiegel. Dear sister-in-law of Adeline Etcovitch. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses Peter and Ethel Etcovitch, Issie and Mildred Etcovitch, Sadie and Irwin Feldstein, Moe Etcovitch, Eta Etcovitch. Cherished grandmother of Shaun and Serena Spiegel. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to the staff of 2 North at the Maimonides Geriatric Centre for their care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, December 19 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Dorshei Emet Reconstructionist Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
