ZUCKER, Judy (nee Itzkowitz)
Peacefully, on Friday, May 29, 2015, at the age of eighty-four. Born in Bucharest, Romania. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Darline and Dan Rosenhek, Gilbert and Cecilia Zucker, Diana and Sunny Patpatia. Loving grandmother of Jackie Rosenhek and Grant Shannon, Andy Rosenhek and Natai Shelsen; Rebecca, and Amanda Zucker; Priya, and Sasha Patpatia. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Jeanette and the late Moishe Reicher, Nelly and the late Abe Kornblit, Maurice and Sonia Issko. Judy will be greatly missed by her beloved nieces and nephews. Heartfelt thanks to Judy and Yigal Epstein and the staff of Snowdon residence for their devoted care, to Dr. Michael Dworkind and Dr. Lucas Badenduck for their compassion and insight, and to the attentive nursing staff of 6 North and Palliative Care Unit at the Jewish General Hospital. Graveside service on Monday, June 1 at 12:30 p.m., at the Dorshei Emet Reconstructionist Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, 30 Elm Ave., Beacosnfield. Shiva at her daughter Darline's home, at 536 Argyle Ave., Westmount, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily through Friday afternoon, June 5.
