RANDOLPH, Paula (nee Dalys) It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of our beloved Paula Dalys Randolph after a long and courageous battle. Cherished wife of Arnold Randolph. Adoring mother and mother-in-law of Michael and Micaela, Greg and Jenny. Beloved daughter of the late Sheila and the late Edwin Dalys, daughter-in-law of Eve and the late Murray Randolph. Dear sister of Tanya Dalys, Carol Dalys and sister-in-law of Elaine Randolph, and Eric Randolph. Loved and missed by all her nieces and nephews. The devotion and care from her husband and sons was a reflection of the love they had for her and they never strayed from her side during her courageous battle. Paula will be greatly missed by her sisterhood of friends and by her colleagues at the Montreal General Hospital-Addictions Unit - where she gave generously and with compassion to her patients for many years. She was beautiful, inside and out, she loved life. Her family was her centre, while she was theirs. She was entertaining, a ferocious reader, loved playing folk guitar and singing harmonies. She was a connoisseur of comedy, and very funny. Her loyalty to her friends created a lifetime sisterhood which sustained them and her throughout the years. Paula was a gentle sweet spirit, an empathic listener who kept her heart and arms open to all until the very end of her brave battle. Her battle spanned 22 months, and she met each stage with such amazing courage and dignity that we will always remain inspired. Many thanks to the loving caregivers, the volunteers, the aids, nurses and doctors at the West Island Palliative Care Centre for providing us with such wonderful care. Thanks to the caregivers at Cedars Cancer, the doctors at Mass General. May her endless love, joy and spirit always sustain us. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, October 21 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Baron de Hirsch Community Foundation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
