HECHT, Reuben Peacefully, on Thursday, January 7, 2010. Beloved husband of the late Sally Gilbert. Devoted father and father-in-law of Linda and Martin Bogante, Stephen and Shari, Joyce and David Bergman. Cherished grandfather of Laurie Bogante, Carrie Bogante and Jonathan Wise, Jason Hecht and Aly Hecht, Jeffrey and Michael Bergman. Loving great-grandfather of Jordan and Douglas Wise, Sarah and Noah MacKay. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Celia and the late Gerson Hecht, the late Sol and the late Rita Hecht, the late Ben and the late Betty Hecht. Brother-in-law of the late Rae and the late Louis Gollob, the late Lou and the late Sarah Gilbert, the late Jack and the late Maude Gilbert. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family wishes to express grateful appreciation to the staff of 6 South at Maimonides, and to Gail Oliver for her constant devotion and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, January 10 at 11 a.m. Burial at the Congregation Beth Zion Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
