FRIED, Nancy (nee Superstein) Peacefully, after a courageous struggle, on Sunday, February 27, 2011, with her loving family by her side. Beloved wife and best friend of Irwin. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Melanie Fried, and Rob and Tara Fried. Cherished Bubby of Jakey and Brody. Dear sister and sister-in-law of David and Susan Superstein. Sister-in-law of Jeff Fried. Dearest aunt of Samantha and Bruno, Andrea, and Adina and Ryan. Nancy will be lovingly remembered by her many cousins and dear friends. The family would like to thank Drs. Francois Patenaude, David Melnychuk and Sherry Luger, and to the nurses and staff of the Oncology Department, as well as Dr. Bernard Lapointe and the nurses and staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Jewish General Hospital. Special thanks to everyone at Congregation Shomrim Laboker for their compassion and kindness. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, March 2 at 11 a.m. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
