FOX (FUCHS), Benny
Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, after a lengthy struggle with Parkinson's disease, on Saturday, June 22, 2013, just two days after his ninety-third birthday. His loving wife of sixty-seven years, Bella, cared for and supported him throughout, never leaving his side. Beloved father and father-in-law of Harry Fox and Tirzah Meacham, Frances and Shimshon Hamerman, Rosalie Fox and Lawrence Wolofsky. Adoring grandfather of Tzemah and Aviva, Tanchum and Shoshanah, Yoam and Matt; Aviva, Natan and Dina; Tamar and Gabriel. Proud great-grandfather of Hannah, Sarah, Moshe, and Boaz Lev. Predeceased by his parents, Faiga and Menachem Mendel Fuchs. Brother and brother-in-law of the late Chava Fuchs, the late Hermina and the late Sandor Popovich, the late Shari Rosman, the late Reisel Fuchs, the late Moti Fuchs. Dear brother-in-law of Lily Fuchs, Serena and the late Joseph Hudson, the late Rosa and the late Zelig Berger. Long-time member of Beth Zion Congregation. A gentle man to his last; a generous friend and a Survivor. Many thanks to Cantor Mendy Fogel z"l who prayed with him daily and gave him comfort and solace; to his caregiver Deana, and to his physiotherapist, Sacha, who added to his quality of life during his illness.
