EPHRAIM, ROSE (NEE VINEBERG). Peacefully, after a lengthy illness on Wednesday, July 2, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Jack. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Gary and Greta, Marilyn and Gerry Spevack. Cherished Bubby of Mandy and Andrew Steinberg, Rob and Adrienne Ephraim; Jaclyn Spevack and Mike Bohbot, Lorin Spevack. Proud great-grandmother of Emily and Ally; Abigail and Jacob. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Eve and Lou Schafer, Jean and Leo Schwartz, the late Louis Vineberg, and sister-in-law of Joey and the late Shirley Ephraim, Roussel and Leonard Lindenbaum, Harriet and the late Bernie Ephraim, Betty and the late Sam Roth, the late Marion and the late Sam Ellis, the late Louis and the late Adeline Ephraim, the late Rita and the late Joe Linder, the late Harriet and the late Isadore Schneider. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and all who knew her. The family would like to thank her caregivers Lisa, Gertrudes, Tess, Mary-Jane and Tina, and the staff of the Jewish Eldercare Centre for their care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Friday, July 4 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva private.
