BERKE, Irene. Peacefully and surrounded by her loving family at BMP Hospital in Cowansville on Wednesday, May 17, 2006, in her fifty-eighth year, after a courageous battle. Devoted mother of Alyssa, Nick and Josh. Beloved daughter of Ruth Schleien and Manny Batshaw, the late Arthur Berke and the late Larry Heller. Sadly mourned by Gerald Bleser. Dear sister of Jordan Barak of Israel. Special friend of Albert Providente. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her devoted friends and family. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons: 3888 Jean Talon W. on Friday, May 19, at 12 noon. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
