STEG, Irene (nee Raab)
Peacefully, at home, with her daughter by her side, on Sunday, November 10, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Nathan. Loving and devoted mother of Doris Steg. Adoring and proud grandmother of Matthew and Stephen. Predeceased by her parents, Michael and Fanny, and sister Ilona, who were murdered in the Holocaust. Also predeceased by her sister, Eva Walder, and brother-in-law, Jack Walder. Many thanks to Aster and Lydia for their loving care and devotion. Irene will be remembered for her creativity, wit and kindness. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, November 11 at 2 p.m. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
