GOLD, Albert (Sonny) Peacefully in his eighty-sixth year, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, September 20, 2009. Cherished husband and best friend of Lucy Bookbinder for fifty-five years. Loving father and father-in-law of Helaine and the late Nathan Baril, Linda, Donna and Shawn Apel. Devoted grandfather of Alana and Benjamin Baril, Alex and Hannah Gold-Apel. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Jack and Sylvia Gold, and brother-in-law of William, Irving, George and Suzanne Bookbinder. The family wishes to express heartfelt gratitude to family and friends for their continued care and support. Special thanks to his caregiver, Robert Lewis, for his loving attention, and also to the CLSC Rene-Cassin. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, September 22 at 2 p.m. Burial at Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at his residence from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily. Due to the advent of Yom Kippur, shiva ends Sunday, September 27 at 12 noon.
