CLARKE, Bernard (Bernie)
Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, March 12, 2013. Most beloved husband of Irma Ballington Hubscher. Dear father and father-in-law of Edward Clarke and Brigitte Boisseau, and Arlene Douglas. He will be sadly mourned and fondly remembered by Irma's children, Peggy and Earl Fixman, Mark and Chris Hubscher, Linda and Harold Perlman. Cherished grandfather of Alexandra Clarke and Arianna Clarke-Watts; Justin and Chelsea Douglas; Jeffrey and Randy Fixman, Wendy Fixman and Geoff Poulad; Adam and Emily Hubscher; and Jesseca Perlman. Loving great-grandfather of Matthew, J.J. and Sean Fixman; and Liam Poulad. Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Al and the late Pearl Clarke, and brother-in-law of Evie and Sid Streicher. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Stanley Heisler and Dr. Richard Sheppard. Special thanks to Emina, Delina, and Esther of the Heart Function Clinic and to the staff of 2nd floor Cardiac Unit at the Jewish General Hospital. Friends are welcome to visit the family at home on Thursday, March 14, from 1 to 5 p.m. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, March 15 at 12 noon. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at 6785 Korczak Cr., C.S.L., from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. daily through Monday evening, March 18.
