KAPLIN, Sydney
Peacefully, on Friday, May 1, 2015, at the age of ninety-three. Beloved husband of Lillian Belitzky for sixty-eight years. Loving father and father-in-law of Helen, Michael, Richard, Earl and Julie (Enright). Proud Zaidie of Justin Mizzi (Jennifer Dickson), and Adam Mizzi; Cory Kaplin (Anik Bouchard), and Bradley Kaplin; Lauren Kaplin (Brian Kozlowski), Eric Kaplin, and Andrea Kaplin; Cody, and Alexi Kaplin. Brother of the late Millie Halpern, the late Ena Ryant, and the late Herbert Kaplin. Sydney will be missed by his large extended family and many dear friends. The family would like to thank Carmel Claveria and Amor Camacho, as well as the other dedicated caregivers who took such great care of Sydney over the last number of years. Special thanks to Dr. Michael Dworkind and his staff for their compassion and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, May 5 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at Castel Royal: 5740 Cavendish Blvd., C.S.L., through Thursday evening.
