SCHNITZER, Edmund
In his eighty-ninth year, on Tuesday, June 12, 2012. Beloved husband of Fay Reznick for sixty-eight years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Howard and Rachel, Lonnie and Shelley, and the late David. Cherished "Grampa" of Noam and Ashley, Dana and Ola, and Aimee; Mireille, Neil, and Veronica; Kyam, Beno, and Lisa. Dear brother of Dr. Morris Schnitzer of Ottawa, and brother-in-law of Maurice and Monica Reznick of Vancouver, Rita and the late Samuel Reznick, Rita and the late Saul Reznick. Predeceased by his parents and brother who perished in the Holocaust. Sadly mourned by his nieces and nephews. Special thanks to his caregiver, Cynthia Sinclair and to the staff of 6 NW Geriatrics at the Jewish General Hospital for their loving care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, June 14 at 12 noon. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at his home.
