TISSENBAUM, Dr. Benjamin. After a courageous battle on Wednesday, April 23, 2008. Beloved husband and best friend of Ellen De Jonge for fifty years. Treasured and loving father and father-in-law of Allan and Charlene Tissenbaum, Gerry Tissenbaum and Lisa Taerk, Heidi Tissenbaum and Allan Dines, Suzanne De Jonge. Proud "Zaidy Ben" of Jeremy, Darrian and Felicia Tissenbaum; Maxx and Molly Tissenbaum; David and Jared Dines; Benjamin De Jonge-Tissenbaum. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Tissy and Mort Goldstein and brother-in-law of Warner and Olga Cowan, Bernard and the late Hilda Cowan. Sadly mourned by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Friday, April 25 at 1 p.m. Burial at Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at 6795 Korczak Cr. #606. Due to the festival of Passover shiva commences Sunday evening April 27 through Friday afternoon May 2.
