BECKENSTEIN, Dorothy (nee Eisenberg). At Mount Sinai Hospital on Wednesday, August 1, 2007. Devoted wife of the late Issie Beckenstein. Beloved mother of Gloria and Lawrence Caplan, Barbara and the late Mike Haberman, and Stephen Beckenstein. Cherished Grammi of Andrea and Peter, Sheldon and Debbie, Alan and Maurice, Ira and Sherri, Zena and Michael, Ian and Hailee. Proud Great-Grammi of Evan and Jacey Jardine, Lexi and Hallie Haberman. Sister of Mildred Somberg. The family would like to thank Hannah and the staff of Mount Sinai Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion.
