TAUB, Zwi
A Holocaust survivor. Peacefully, on Wednesday, July 27, 2016, in his ninety-fourth year. Beloved husband of the late Gitta. Loving and devoted father and father-in-law of Hillel and Julie, Eva (Chava) and Elliott Newman, Sarah Taub and Ross Chaban. Cherished Grandpa of Brendan and Sylvie, Tara and Beth, Tamara and David, Nadine and Kieran, Erin and Asher, Nuri, Sean and Chris. Proud great-grandfather of Jessica, Caroline, Mira, Leora, Benjamin, Jaden, and Price. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Olga and the late Max Perlmutter, and the late Joseph Taub. Zwi will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family in Israel and Australia, friends, and all of those whose lives he touched. Special thanks to his dear angel and caregiver, Anna Gionis and her extended family, for their unsurpassed care, love, devotion and dedication to Zwi and his whole family. The family would also like to thank the staff of Maimonides Geriatric Centre for their kind care. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, July 31 at 10:00 a.m. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
