LEIBOVITCH, Doris (nee Herscovitz)
Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, March 26, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Irving. Daughter of the late Mary and the late Rubin Herscovitz. Loving and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Bonnie and Chuck Merovitz, Billy and Cathy Leibovitch, Elli and Irwin Horner. Cherished Bubby of Lee and Debbie, Ryan, R.J., Jared, Brad, Jenna (fiance Eric), and Evan. Special Bubby Bubby of Jack and Matt. Devoted sister and sister-law of Fran (Fritzie) Bacal, Dr. Oscar (Sonny) and the late Goldie Herscovitch, the late Sally and the late Moe Goldstein, Zelda and the late Leon Leibovitch, Roberta and the late Myer Leibovich, the late Mildred (Mickey) and the late Mo Levine, Sylvia Mendel, and Dorothy Leibovitch. She will be forever remembered by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family wishes to thank the Palliative Care team at the Jewish General Hospital for their care and compassion, especially Dr. Nicole Baird, nurses Margaret and Marie-Christine, as well as the wonderful nursing staff at Masterpiece West Island. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, March 29 at 2:00 pm. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at 117 Chatillon, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
