WOLKOVE, Rose (nee Gertel) Peacefully, surrounded by family, on Sunday, November 28, in her eighty-fifth year. Cherished wife of Peter for sixty-one years. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Terry and Dr. Gerald Trager, Jeff and Terri (Brown) Wolkove, and Cynthia Churgin. Loving and adored Bubby of Jonathan and Traci, Deborah, Joshua; Robyn and J.J., Mark and Lauren; Sarah, Daniel and Casey. Great-Bubby of Noah and Laili Rose. Sister and sister-in-law of Bill and Sylvia Gertel, the late Edith and the late Harry Fridhandler, and sister-in-law of Edward and Sarah Wolkove and the late Rose Wolkove, Martha and the late Bernie Wolkove. Caring aunt and great-aunt, cousin and friend to many. The family would like to thank the devoted staff of Mt. Sinai, and special thanks to Willi for her kindness and care. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, November 30 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
