GOLD, Lionel
On Monday, December 7, 2015, in his 87th year, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Ida Horowitz for 60 years. Loving father and father-in-law of Mona Gold and Robert Steinberg, Rhonda Gold and Francois Blondin. Cherished Zaidie (Dazade) of Max, Shawn, Jordan and Erika. Predeceased by his dear siblings Sam and Beryl, Millie and Philip Pinsky; brother-in-law of Sol and Lil, Myer and Barbara, and Jean and the late Isadore Horowitz. The Family would like to thank Dr. Jason Agulnick, Dr. Nacera Belkhous, their wonderful staff and volunteers at the Jewish General Hospital for their care and compassion as well as his caregiver Michelle Smith for her constant and unwavering support. He will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W. on Wednesday, December 9 at 12:00 p.m. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at his home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily.
