TURKENIK, Leah (nee Kuznetz). Peacefully in her one hundred and second year on Thursday, August 10, 2006. Beloved wife of the late Samuel. Dear and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Vivian Cohen, Harriet and Harold Laxer. Cherished grandmother of Lorne and Ronna Cohen, Marla and Frank Yanofsky, Mitchell and Gloria Laxer, Laurie and Bert Dana, Jody and Howard Wallace. Adored great-grandmother of fourteen. Predeceased by her siblings. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Special thanks to Hermie, Delia and the staff of the 4th floor at Mt. Sinai Hospital for their exceptional care. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons 3888 Jean Talon W. on Friday August 11 at 12:15 p.m. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
